First Christian Church Remodel - Harrison,
Arkansas:
The Reverend of the First Christian Church employed
the services Jeff Laur & Associates to redesigned the pulpit because
of "blocking view" of its existing pulpit and also, its existing
middle wood columns as being complained by the congregation especially those
seated in the side pews. On its new design the pulpit was trimmed down and
the wood column was removed, its vacant space can be utilize by a wheel-chaired
parishioner. An arched glu-lam beam was proposed as structural replacement
of the said columms.
