Henley Residence:

This is a major addition / remodel
to the original Judge Henley Residence constructed in Harrison, Arkansas
in 1905. Great care was taken to compliment the existing home and match
existing materials and details. The new additions include a large kitchen
/ dining / family room, twin master bedroom / master bathroom suites for
the twin sisters who own the home, a study, a four car garage, an upstairs
loft living area that is open to the dining and family rooms below, an upstairs
guest bedroom and bath, a large recreation / game room over the garage,
a covered patio off the family room, a covered deck off the upstairs living
area, and a two story octagonal entrance foyer between the new and existing
wings which is designed to compliment an octagonal two story section of
the original home. The original stone came from the Carthage, Missouri quarry,
but could not be color matched at that location. However, the stone quarry
north of Eureka Springs was able to very closely match the original stone
patterns and color.
