Sometime on May 2000 during a thunderstorm, the
Parish Hall and Learning Center building was struck by lightning and burned
most of the structure (see upper picture). The archdiocese deemed to rebuilt
the building with extension at the rear and renovation of the Parish Hall
and its Kitchen area. Jeff Laur and Associates during its design presentation
scheme presented to the archdiocese design committee a "would-be"
look of the building if reconstructed (see lower picture).
